Biotech/pharma licensing deals face many challenges, not the least of which is the possibility of deal termination due to lack of efficacy, safety or due diligence concerns; many deals come to an end for reasons that are completely outside the control of the biotech partner. Denise Pollard-Knight, Managing Partner of Phase4 Ventures, leads a panel in telling the stories of companies that have faced such scenarios and have managed to move their compound forward nonetheless.
